Do you feel like you want to make your voice heard at the Guild and that you lack a way to get your creativity flowing when all the numbers and equations take over your everyday life? In that case, the Information Committee is something for you! We in InfU have a lot of varying tasks, but our main purpose is to make sure that important information and texts worth reading reach all the members at the Guild. We do this by publishing the Guild magazine Druiden, the newsletter Orbitalen and by decorating the notice boards at KC with posters.
In InfU, you will find great opportunities to discuss and make your ideas into reality with other creative members at the Guild, and to improve your skills related to design, writing and planning of fun events. Your task in InfU to share current information also gives you a great overview of everything happening at the Guild, as well as the opportunity to make your mark on the information that reaches the rest of the Guild members.
HEAD OF COMMUNICATION
Head of Communication
As Head of Communication, I am responsible for the work and members of the committee. I make sure that the Guild magazine Druiden is published once every quarter, that the newsletter Orbitalen is sent to the members of the Guild every week and that the members of InfU are happy and know what to do. I am also in charge of the communication between Da Vinci and the people who want to get in touch with them.
As Head of Communication you get the chance to develop the committee and to make sure that the work of the committee is as good as possible during your year as a leader. You also get the opportunity to improve your skills when it comes to creating a good team environment and communication in a group, and to creating a budget for the operational year. The Committee Board will be there to support your work.
The position as an Editor gives you the opportunity to channel your creative writing, and to learn more about graphic design through working in an editing program. By being an important part of the Guild’s dissemination of information, you also get a good overview of everything happening at the K-Guild and LTH.
As Editors, our main task is to write funny chronicles for and to put together the Guild’s newsletter Orbitalen every week, and to design and finish the Guild magazine Druiden together. By spreading the Guild’s information, you will become an important part of the everyday life of the Guild members!
As a Da Vinci, we are responsible for the design and graphics at the Guild, and we give graphical input to the work of more or less every committee. We make sure that the front page of the Guild magazine Druiden looks great and raises interest, and that there in collaboration with other committees are fitting posters for every event at the Guild.
The position as a Da Vinci is perfect if you want and can spend time on your creative work and on improving your skills related to graphic design. You will get to try out working in different editing programs, and see your work decorate the notice boards in the corridors and Gallien.
The position as a Journalist gives you the chance to develop your collaborative skills together with the other Journalists in the committee in order to make Druiden as good as possible. You will also get to practice meeting deadlines, and last but not least developing a creative idea into a finished text.
As Journalists we have an amazing opportunity to channel our love for writing and to reach out to the other members of the Guild in writing. Our task is to write funny, important and personal texts to the Guild magazine Druiden. We get the chance to fill Druiden with everything from quizzes and crosswords to articles and interviews. In other words, we make sure that the students at the K-guild get to vary all the chemistry literature with something more entertaining that will improve your general knowledge.
