What do we do at FermU?

We in FermU ferment different products for the section, such as kombucha and yogurt in different flavors. The committee also holds events, such as brewing courses where participants can learn more about fermentation.

Within the committee we have the "Ferminator" who is the master of the committee and seven "Microbes" as committee members. As a committee member, you get to learn a lot about fermentation and experiment with different recipes with a wonderful group of people. This committee is suitable for those who are interested in fermentation and like to experiment with new things. No previous experience in fermentation is required, just a willingness to learn and bring joy to the section through fermentation!

Ferminator

As Ferminator, I am responsible for implementing the ideas and ambitions of the Microbes within the committee. FermU is the section's newest committee which means members have a lot of creative freedom. I make sure the Microbes get to live their fermentation dreams and delegate work between the Microbes when we have projects going on. I'm the one who organizes lunch meetings, delegates tasks within the committee and does a bit more of the planning. As a Ferminator, I also sit on the board.

Microbe

We have the major creative responsibility within the Fermentation Committee. We Microbes come up with projects that we want to do in the committee and implement them together with the Ferminator. The Microbe position, like the Ferminator, is one of the newest positions in the K-Section, so we have unlimited possibilities. As Microb, we determine our own responsibilities. For example, within the Committee, we have a Microb with beer knowledge responsibilities that we have determined internally.
