The Regulatory Documents of the K-guild describe how the Guild works and should be run, and have been voted on and approved by the members of the Guild. The By-laws form the basis for the Regulatory documents, thereby governing the operation of the Guild. The Regulations supplement the By-laws by describing practical applications. For example, the committees, volunteer positions and their commitments are described here. The Policies describe specific parts of the Guild’s operations, and the Guidelines are a help for the volunteers on how to carry out their commitments. The By-laws are available in English, however the other Regulatory documents are only available in Swedish.
The By-laws, Regulations and Policies can only be changed at Guild meetings. A change in the By-laws must pass two consecutive Guild meetings. Guidelines can be changed at Board Meetings.
You can find templates for writing new Regulatory documents in the file archive.
The Guild’s Environmental Action Plan is not a regulatory document, but is a document which is annually updated and describes how the Guild plans to work for a more sustainable operation.
